Company History
SPIT ENZ is a family owned and operated business with many more years of experience than our founding date of 1992 would suggest. A tradition established by Fred Rakich, Wally Rakich, Arthur Rakich and Theresa Smith.
The Rakich family have been spit roasting meat in New Zealand for generations after bringing this cooking method with them from Croatia.
One thing our family understood, what better way to bring family and friends together than to celebrate a life occassion with great food and drink.
SPIT ENZ has specialised in private and corporate functions for over 20 years, including weddings, Villa Maria Estate harvest, Kumeu wineries harvest, Queenstown wine & food festival...and many more special ocassions each year.
